Mr. Mambo W. Madzura
NECATI Chairperson
Mr Madzura is an accomplished Aviation business leader and currently holds the reins at the National Employment Council for the Air Transport Industry (NECATI) as the Council Chairman. He is a visionary with global perspective and entrepreneurial drive. Mr Madzura’s legacy in Aviation operations spans over 39 years. He has previously worked for international brands like Aerotech (Pvt) Limited as an Aircraft Engineer from 1978 to 1990. He then moved to the national airliner, Air Zimbabwe in 1990 where he worked as an Instructor, Training and Manager up to 2007. In 2007, he was elevated to the post of a Quality and Safety Auditor the position he held up to 2013. In 2014, Mr Madzura left Air Zimbabwe to join Fly Africa as a Safety and Quality Manager the position he holds up to date. He is a shining resource person in the field of quality management and ISO Standards which makes him an invaluable asset to the aviation industry.
With an impressive record of quality management and trade unionism throughout the sub- region, Mr Madzura’s career has seen him in both professional and social responsibility arenas including being the Chairman of the International Transport workers Federation for the Southern African region. He is the current President of the biggest Air Transport workers union, the National Air transport Workers’ Union (NAWU). Mr Madzura’s versatility in aircraft engineering and understanding of various cultures impacts well in the various stakeholders of the Aviation industry.
Mr Madzura is a holder of a Chemical Engineering degree from London University, a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a South African Engineering Institute. He is one of the few Private Instructors of Pilots and Aircraft Engineers in the country.

Eckford Jere
NECATI Vice Chairperson
Eckford is a contemporary and versatile Human Resources business expert renowned for the development and implementation of a suite of HR Tools and Metrics, Talent, Leadership Development, Reward and Performance Management systems. He has a wealth of HR experience spanning for over 26 years. Before assuming duty as Human Resources Manager for Aviation Ground Services (AGS) in March 2013, Eckford worked at Flair Employment Agency as a Managing Consultant in 1990. He then moved to ZIMRA as an HR Generalist. Mr Jere also worked as a Group Industrial Relations Manager for TEDCO (Pvt) limited in 2002. He also worked as a Group Human Resources Manager for KSM group of companies up to 2013.
Eckford holds a Masters in Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology, several Human Resources and Business Leadership qualifications. He is studying for a Doctor in Business Administration degree with Binary University of Malaysia. Mr Jere is a Board Member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe (IDZ), Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) and Gunhill Projects which is an agricultural enterprise.

Edmore Chandakasarira
General Secretary
Edmore is a contemporary and versatile Human Resources practitioner with over 10 years of experience having worked for various mining houses. He has passionate interest and experience in management of workplace labour relations and the development and implementation of Reward and Performance Management systems.
He worked for African Associated Mines (SMM) and three subsidiaries of the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation (ZMDC) before joining the NEC.
Edmore holds an Msc in Human Resources Management from the Great Zimbabwe University, Diploma in HR Management from IPM Zimbabwe, a Diploma in Law Conciliation and Arbitration and an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe. He is a successful product of a rigorous SMM graduate Learnership programme, an 18 months comprehensive HR and Business Leadership Development Programme.

Liona Ndimbarimba
Designated Agent
Liona is a distinguished labour practitioner with almost a decade of experience in labour relations issues as a conciliator and arbitrator. She has passionate interest and experience in labour law and its jurisprudence
She worked as a Principal Labour Officer for Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare under the Department of Labour from 2009 up to August 2018 when she Joined NECATI.
She holds a Bsc Hons in Political Science from the University Of Zimbabwe and a Master Degree in International Relations from Bindura University of Science Education

Percy Chingwena
Accounts and Administration Officer
Percy is a creative and resourceful Finance and Administration practitioner with over 14 years’ experience in the field of Accounting/Finance and Administration. His major areas of interest include financial reporting, financial management, budgeting, risk assessment and management, payroll and general administration.
Percy is a holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration degree (MBA), Honours’ in Accountancy degree (HAC) from the University of Zimbabwe and currently studying towards accreditation with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe (ICSAZ).
He has worked for Sai & Company Public Accountants, Shaven Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, Guarantee Trust Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd and Printflow (Pvt) Ltd before joining NECATI.
